On May 15, 2005, the B'nai Shalom Hebrew School had their annual walk-a-thon at the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages in Balboa Park.  Students walked and rode scooters to raise money for the Hebrew School.  Afterwards, the children played and parents socialized while sampling ethnic foods from the many countries houses , including the Israel House.
